clutch changing problems

Ok what size socket do I need to remove that giant ass nut on the clutch? The one you have to remove to change torque spring??

millsc 02-01-2013 01:52 PM

46mm nut i took mine to a muffler shop he let me use his tools free.

richardthescooter1 02-01-2013 01:55 PM

Is that the same size for 250cc clutch?

millsc 02-01-2013 01:58 PM

I believe they all use the 46mm or 1 13/16 socket

millsc 02-01-2013 02:02 PM

impact wrench takes it right off i put my feet on it when i did it, and clamped it to a bench and impacted it back on its simple with the right tools.

I did see on one forum, working on a 50cc they were using a 38mm. measure it and see.

My 250cc clutch takes a 1 5/8" socket.

Mine was 38mm. I use a 1 1/2 socket on my air impact.

38mm = 1.49 inches.

I have a 08 Keeway F-Act

millsc 02-01-2013 11:07 PM

I was wrong measured again its 38mm or 1 1/2 my bad

bloodymomo 02-01-2013 11:55 PM
