Stator

Should I read to ground on a stator? Eather wire reads to ground. this happened with 2 new stators. Should I try a third? Getting expensive!

dude I'm sorry. do you have a remote starter or alarm? If you do get rid of them your stator is fine.

No remote starter or alarm????

what happens when you try to start it. If it starts and runs you should be fine.

The stators are composed of pretty short lengths of wire. Measuring resistance of them would yield close to zero ohms so it might fool you into thinking they're shorted to ground when in reality they're probably fine.
