Tao tao NO SPARK
 

Hello, I have been working on my 2011 tao tao scooter now for 2 months trying to figure out this no spark problem. I bought new cdi,coil and stator still no spark. I took kill swith wire off cdi harness no luck. Made sure new plug threads grounded . Would a bad rectifier cause no spark? PLease Help!!!

No, the rectifier will not effect the spark, Ive seen this problem with many scooters. Check the gap between the pickup and the magneto, also make sure the 2 wires are correct from the stator, there are different color combos but black and red always go the the other black and red, then the other wire usually doesnt match, like red and white going to blue and white
