If the old hammer on the starter trick works, you might have a blown starter motor.

ive tried that,i was wondering maybe a bad relay?ive only had this a few months but I guess anything could happen with these Chinese scoots.

Yea, relay would also make sense. Unfortunately I'm not sure where your starter relay is located, but I would look under the front fairing. Sometimes they're mounted on the frame tube under there, or on the inside of the plastics in that general area.
Sucks that you've had so many issues with yours, I guess it's luck of the draw on if you get a good one or a bad one. |
the only thing under the front is the regulator.im surprised more people help out cause this jonway I have with the dual headlights is very common

Follow the thick red wire off the battery. The relay or solenoid will be at the end of the wire.

I found my solenoid and pressed the button and nothing,i tapped on the solenoid and it started.tried this three times and it worked every time.i also jumped the studs and that also worked every time.so this would be the solenoid and not the starter correct?
