My longest scooter ride so far is the trip home from buying the CF Moto 250cc. It was on Long Island, 200 miles away. It did fine and was fairly comfortable. I'll do the reverse sometime but round trip. I have family and friends there.

i know its not a all in one shot but on my last scooter i used to do over 500 a week on a little 50cc scooter. things i used to keep with me all the time is oil, zip tip ties , screwdriver, 10mm and 8mm wrench, and pliers. living in mass the roads are terrible bolts used to come undone all the time. on my next scooter i plan on investing in some locktite lmao

1375 miles from York PA to Hickory NC last year, Wednesday to Sunday.
This year, York to Greenville NC, did the whole way down in a 12 hour ride, about 375 miles, with making a few wrong turns here and there. Cheap GPS's suck!
I've always wanted to ride down RT15, down through Maryland farmland, into Virginia farmland, and through the Roanoke Rapids area, is just beautiful riding.
You had wonderful stretches of road that was very open, very lite traffic.
I did pay a price for bad tool planning. I broke a belt, about 3 hours from home on the way back, and broke my variator face plate getting it off along the road.
Had to have my wife bring my PU and ramps, to rescue the BR and me.
BUT, I just got a sweet deal, on a 3/8th's drive Dewalt Impact, with 2-20 amp batteries, for $60.00 and I'll NEVER leave home without it again.
I'm doing the Smoky Mountain Crawl next year, and CON where ever it's going to be.
I'm also going to do a few more fund raisers rides for the Pediatric Brain Tumor awareness folks.

A guy at CON this year, rode from Savanna Georgia up to Greenville NC on his 50 cc Ruckus this year. He just flat out flies on that thing! I believe he said it was 400 miles or so one way.

When I lived in N.H. , I spent a lot of time riding in Mass plus my buddy lived in Roxbury (Mission Hill ) I had locknuts from working on aircraft. I changed the nuts on my bike & it was well worth the labor! You might even buy some. I don't know what they cost. I have found that you save money by buying a box instead of buying individually! (Usually):clap: Irish :scoot::nuts:

Trips

Just got threw reading about their 25,000 mile trip across the USA,Africa,India,Tibet,Thailand,Laos,& all those countries then back to the USA ride back to Oregon from LA. How many People would do that trip ? 100cc Symbas. WOW !!! I guess the rest of us have NO Excuses for at least making a effort to make a long trip in North America.

Some of those trips are just incredible. Of course, it's not only the scooter, it's being able to grab the time off from work and family to do the ride. I don't really have any scooter trips that apply. I have thousands of miles and lots of camping, but all on 750cc and up bikes. Even my scooter is a 250, which puts it really on the large side to be considered "scamping". Truth is though, you do see more of the world at 35mph than you do at 70mph. Have an excellent trip, Modene.

Two weeks ago my 250 went on the fritz with a blown starter motor. I had to visit someone in the hospital and used the 150 on surface roads. The trip was 80 miles round trip and I made the journey three times. It wasn't the smoothest ride I ever took but the scooter held up fine and gave me 80+ mpg. Not bad for a seven year old Cheap Chinese Scooter.
