Scooter tag anyone?
 

Since the board was reset, the old scooter tag sticky thread was lost. I am resurrecting it here on the new board.

Moderators: Can we have this re-stickied?

For those who have not seen it or participated in the past, here are the rules copied from the original thread.

The Rules:

* To start, someone posts a photo of their scooter with a landmark, the person posting the pic would state what will constitute a correct "tag" e.g. scooter in front of a lake.

* Other participants ride to a similar place in their area and take a photo with THEIR scooter in a similar spot.

* The first person to "tag" the photo by posting their photo with their bike gets to post the next photo for people to find.

Now, there was a list of tags that had not been updated in quite a while. I added all the tags since the last update. As you can see this has been ongoing for some time. We've done well in getting unique tags, there has only been a couple of duplicates.

I was at the bank one day when a google street view camera car passed by. I checked the spot every so often, just to see if I was on there. It changed one day, but not to the day when I was there.
That would have been a game ender--Your scoot on google street view.

It's not uncommon for a tag to sit for a couple of months, especially during winter when most scoots up north are hibernating. Spring is coming up there, the scoots will come out again, and the tags will be hopping.

Dudley I was looking at your pic again and that PCX is a sweet ride. Really a fine looking machine...

All right Its a beautiful day out this way and I am leaving for a birthday ride in a minute I expect there to be a new tag when I return. GET OFF THE INTERNET and ride folks remember we have the tradition of "On Any Sunday" to uphold....

how about a motorcycle? Does it count if we own both scooters?

iits fine if you own both and i will accept a motorcycle as a substitute if you are gonna have a hard time finding a second scooter

Alright next tag is scooter in the elements snow, rain, fog. This photo is from ten minutes ago the storm hitting the east coast, Gf and me want a banana split but tastee freez was close so we settled for snicker ice bar from gas station

I could have taken a pic of mine in the rain this morning had I brought the camera.

Ok here is the bike right before it left for a ride after I had shoveled snow all morning all the way to the road. I cheated ok this was a month or so ago it won't snow or rain here any time soon...

The tag is your scoot in front of (behind whatever) construction equipment same size or larger than the one pictured or in front of any construction site...

Bonus points if you parked the equipment in front of your scoot for the pic like I did..

New objective: Post a pic of your scooter next to a manmade object even bigger than this. I'm going to exclude buildings though because that is too easy!

In essence, you are challenging us to match the photo tag that you found. So get out there again and snap a new pic. You can still change your idea if you find something else along the way.
I had posted this as a construction equipment tag earlier in the game. Didn't figure it was sporting to just re-post it, so left that for you guys. Anxious to see the new tag I have another new one in mind.
