Actually, I bought a Ural, sidecar rig last month, so I will be able to continue to ride as long as I live. Right now (at 68), I don't have a problem with the heavier bikes, and the wife sitting behind me......but in another decade....who knows. Muscle tone, and balance sure don't improve with age. So if I'm lucky enough to make it to 85.....with the sidecar rig, I'll still be riding when weather permits.

RKS----Do light workouts with light weights! I do that & my wife & I ride a 2006 Sportster 1200 w/Trike Kit. As long as you stay in fairly good shape , You'll have no problem! I'm 71 ,wife 72 & we have no problem. The strongest muscle that you have is between you're ears!:yay: Irish:scoot::nuts:

(Fortunately, like Jack Benny I've been 23 for the last few decades.)

Sorry, Jack Benny was 39.

I just purchased a Fury 150 Bintelli, no one told me that 81 years young was too old to ride a scooter. Oh well live and learn. It is lighter than my previous 1100 Goldwing, or my 650 Yamaha. I cannot get my leg across the motorcycles anymore due to botched spine surgery. Hey I will let you know how old is to old to ride my scooter, (WHEN I GET THERE)

OLD? Too Old? Rode the 150 Vespa across at 68, rode the 200 across at 73...Looking to do one more in the coming year at 76..

I'm 73 and just got into scooters. Started back in august with a Coleman 50cc. Got it a Sams club. Decent little scooter for the money.
Sold it because I wanted a little more power.
Ended up with a 2009 Yamaha Zuma 125 with 6500 miles on it. Needs a little tlc and new tires which I'm in the process of doing.
Also took the motorcycle safety course back in august when I had the Coleman.
Even though I didn't need the training and endorsement license, I'm glad I took the training. Good stuff from it.
Will need the endorsement now with the Zuma.
