Very nice Hank, you'll love it! I've got two of the older GoPros, but I'm going to sell them for the new HD models.

Naw, I saw it. Funny, my son loves that coffee, but he doesn't like riding. My daughter and I don't really care for that roast (But we still will drink it!), but we're the bike riders in our family!! LOL

BTW- My wife hates coffee...

I bought a 3/4 style helmet with a clear flip-up visor. My full face helmet was getting too hot for me during long traffic light waits. My wife bought one too.
I started out looking at half helmets for summer but I wasn't satisfied with the fit of any of them.
I'll get the full face helmet out of the box again in October for those cool mornings.

Installed a Tiny Tach, to help me get dialed in to the changes I made.
Rejetted, drilled out the slide vacume port, went to a K&N filter, once I tried to reset the A/F and idle adjustments, it went pear shaped, and I could NOT find that sweet spot.
Pulled all the side covers, for easy access, and adjusting it was so easy to do with the TT, I did a Twrill valve set procedure also, getting a lot more power from the hole, and then some at the top end also.

Just ordered a less pretentious exhaust:

Just gas and oil, lately (and Merlot for me). I am thinking about a shorty windshield for my Buddy like this one as fall approaches.

I had planned on getting a winshield in October, when the mornings are cooler. My wife suggested I go ahead and order it to avoid delays, so I didn't argue. It is a Cuppini Short winshield. I like the cut out for the headlight in the bottom of the windshield. All the instructions were in italian, which made me really hungry. The diagrams were good enough that I could figure things out.
Take an adjustble wrench on your first ride to tighten things up. The short, tapered windshield routes the air to about eye level on me. The wind still hits my arms but not my chest and neck.
Riding is louder with the windshield, as all the wind that formerly hit me in the chest is now directed at my face shield.
Now that I have successfully tested the wind screen, I will remove it until the temps drop a bit.

Nice windshield!!
On the RFK's yesterday, I left my house at 6:15 am, and it was cold!!
I'm thrilled to have my windshield and leg shields too. They really help a lot.
Gator Skins kept me from turning back, but once the sun was shining, it got to be a stunning day to ride.
My purchase for Sunday was to donate some money to the pediatraic brain tumor organization. The kids (that can) just beam as they ride on the back of those beautiful machines.
Talk about a jolt to your reality, man they humble me, those brave kids and their families.

I don't quite understand.... A windshield deflects more than just cold air. Have one on my scooter, and on each of my motorcycles also. Wouldn't want to ride without one, whatever the temperature.

Pair of Motorola MH230R handheld radios $60.
Pair of Motorola HM200-MT motorcycle headsets $60.
The wife will be able to tell me when she wants to stop without
having to pass me.

Vespa Originale: Istruzioni per montaggio cupolino

Flyscreen mounts: need 3mm allen wrench

http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps224dce08.jpg

Finished: 17mm open end wrench to tighten expansion assy

http://i226.photobucket.com/albums/d...ps80800267.jpg

Vespa Flyscreen: #605108M
Tools needed: 17mm open end wrench, 10mm wrench, 3mm allen wrench.
Italian reading skills, none... used picture reading. All parts assembled to flyscreen, then mount as a single unit to scooter. (I placed a towel over headlight cowl to protect during install.)

wheelbender6 12-20-2014 10:03 AM

I wish all scooters had windshield mounts like the Vespas. Mounting a universal windshield on the mirror mounts is a longer install and requires frequent retightening.

Cheapto-My youngest Grandson is Autistic! I know what you mean! You should see his face light-up when you take him for a ride! I have to put him in front of me because I'm afraid that he'll fall off. Very uncomfortable & you have to be extra careful with your controls. Irish

No picture yet but I traded in my 2014 Road Warrior for a 2006 Sportster Trike. Irish
P.S. It's a 1200! I think that there were many things wrong with the Road Warrior! I'm a mechanic but at 70yrs old I want to ride , not fix everything! Irish

wheelbender6 01-18-2015 01:15 PM

Post a picture of that new Hog in the "Dog Pound", Irish. I want to see it.
