Could be 2 lean or idle low. Try blipping the throttle as the revs come down.

Try cleaning carb, fuel lines, fuel filter, it almost seems to me it's struggling for gas to get into the carb

I replaced the fuel filter so thats not it, ill take it apart and pull the carb off and clean that. That was my next suspect. If I blip the throttle as it start to die I can get it to keep running usually, itll start to go again at about 20mph.

I took the carburetor apart and cleaned it out, put it back together and now im not getting any fuel flow to the carburater. I think I may have screwed a screw in to far or something. Now it wont even start lol. Id imagine one of the lines should have a vacuum but I dont feel anything

I cant get the carburetor primed, I tried sucking on the vacuum line but cant get the engine to start.

Ok finally got the carburetor primed and the scooter running, had to adjust the idle. BAD NEWS is the problem still exists! WTF.

Google your bike's carb settings and reset mixture screws if you have access to them.

I spent a hour priming my carb after swapping a jet lol. Those vacuums are a little bitchy. After seeing the video, I truly believe your not getting enough gas to the carb. Take it back off, pull the float. There could be even a grain of sand making it stick, a hair or anything. Carefully remove he float as you don't want to bend anything out of adjustment, but when you get it off blow carb cleaner right through that hole until it is spraying out of the fuel feed and then spray it right into the fuel feed. Go the extra mile and pull your intake manifold off and check your reeds. One reed with half a grain of sand holding it stuck open could potentially mimick your issues. Let me know how it goes

tried a new petcock fuel pump, still the issue remains. Going to replace vacuum and fuel line next to see if its possible there a small pinhole somewhere in one of the lines causing a loss of vacuum.

Good idea but why don't you try the free options that I have a feeling will work; clean carb like your life depends on it specifically focusing on the float.

I cleaned the carb pretty good when i took it apart. The scooter runs much faster now then it ever has since ive owned it. It just runs out of fuel. The line from the fuel pump to the carb emptys out. Its like at high rpms the vacuum gets comprised somewhere and stops pushing fuel.

Oh and i replaced both the vacuum and fuel line and the same reault. My nighbors says i should put another inline fuel filter so i can eatch it run dry, and maybe a larger fuelfilter will prolong the issue long enough for the pump to keep up.

Maybe larger internal diameter(I.D.) fuel line?

Make sure 110% your fuel line stops pulling fuel. Definetly get a clear fuel filter to observe, but I believe you may find a constant not ending supply in gas, and your carb needs another cleaning like I said specifically around the float area. If you cleaned your carb and it's running better, clean it again, maybe it'll run Even better.

Hi, I just tested my moped for you with different air filter restrictions, (tape, less tape, even less tape, no tape) with even less tape and no tape it would rev all the way freely and then shortly die 20ish seconds in. Unless I blip the throttle a few times and it will recover. What kind of air filter do you run? If stock, my guess is correct and you need upjet main or clean the carb and make sure the float is working 120% properly, aka not a single piece of dust in the float valve. If that doesn't fix it, and you don't find any kind of vacuum leak, it's going to need a bigger carb. Few mm bigger and that should help your problem, along with potentially a little more top end.

My scooter is 100% stock and I use the stock air intake. I took it off just to make sure it was clean, everything looked good. I can try to take the carb back off and actually soak it over night, that may get what ever little debris that is left out.

Finally got around to cleaning the carb again, the scooter is still experiencing the same problems. I cleaned the carb thoroughly this time to. I guess I can play with the air filter some but the scooter seems to defiantly be running out of gas. After the scooter stalls I have to run the start for about 2 minutes before itll begin to run again which tells me the carb bowl is running dry.

What is the proper way to clean the reeds? That may be my next suspect.

I purchased a brand new carb from ebay, came with a pod air filter. I installed the carb and get the scooter idling, after many hours I am still unable to get the air/fuel ratio correct. Im beggining to think that the carb isnt jetted properly for the pod air filter it comes with...
