running out of fuel

ive had some running issues on my maddogg. It runs great unless i hold wide open for more than 30 seconds or so, then it starts to bog, i twist the throttle a few times to get the fuel pumping and good to go for another 30 seconds or so. Up hills is where its causing the most problems. Stock motor with a slightly larger carb. My best guess is that at WOT i don't have enough vacuum to push the fuel pump, and the tank is below the carb so gravity isn't in my favor. The intake is stock but not an "airbox". Its a cone with splash gaurd and some piping. What should i do?

You may be right about the fuel pump.....but, I have the same style scooter (fuel tank under my feet), and have never had a problem with getting enough fuel up to the carb.

If you're not loosing vacuum due to an old, dried out, loose fitting, or cracked hose.....I'd be more apt to think that your main jet, is one size to small. Get an assortment pack of 5 or 6 jets.....and start experimenting.

i tried jetting, but the issue remains. i held it wide open and watched the flow through the line. It just isnt flowing near as much at wot, but the second i let off the least little bit it starts flowing fine. All lines are good and its a high flow filter.

I've come across other people with the same issue and i guess i'll just have to switch to an electric fuel pump

If its the 244cc Cfmoto engine...
There is no way in hell that the stock fuel pump can get behind @ WOT unless you have a vacuum leak.
Find the leak, fix it, you won't have to buy an electric pump.

upon further investigation it's actually a very common problem on the maddoggs, i've replaced all fuel AND vacuum lines 3 times with 2 different brands. I also gopro'd the fuel lines. So i respectfully disagree with that opinion

also its a gy6 150
