As for the engine. On the left side down low a number will be stamped on the motor reading something like 157QMJ (150cc) or 139QMB (50cc). That's how you'll know how big the engine is.

it looks like it has only half of a 2 stroke engine. can i put a 150 on that frame? also on the subject of motors for a 139qmb what is the difference between a short and long motor

A long case motor is built to handle wheels bigger than 10". Is the motor mount on the top or the bottom? 150cc engines mount on top, 50cc on the bottom.
