I went out to vote this morning and used the scooter. If weather permits everybody should do that. It sends a message. We ride and we vote.

I didn't ride my scoot to my polling place. I was afraid somebody would back over it.

/\/\/\ This was a great idea--scooter riders in my state (NC) are usually looked upon as drunken sub-human filth (amongst other things) because, due to the lack of moped regulations, many scoots are used as "liquor-cycles". We get no respect. And even if many of the guys here do ride scooters due to DUI's, it doesn't make them any less human, ya know? (And, no, I've never had a DUI--just saying)

Going to vote on the scoot sorta says "hey, look at us, we ride scooters and are functioning citizens", lol.

I rode my bike to vote as well, but didn't think of it as a political statement.

If all the riders in America did it polling places would look like mini Sturgis rallies. The overall spectacle would only enhance the image. I walked in wearing my leather jacket, leaving no doubt as to how I came. When I left a man in the parking lot said, "Enjoy the day, there aren't many left." Normally I get no comments from people about my mode of transportation so I took that as a message.

I didn't ride the scooter, but did take one of it's larger stable mates to the polling place yesterday. I was the only two wheeler there when I arrived, but as I walked out the door to leave, I saw that parked in the space next to my R1200C, was a full dress Star motorcycle. So...I guess...at least in these parts...there are bikers that vote.

Actually there are too many differences to call an Indian a copy. Unit construction for one. Also Indian was the first American manufacturer to put a V-Twin on a motorcycle so technically all Harleys are Indian copies.

Which Harley do you own?

Who cares! If you're happy with what you're riding that's all that matters! :ugh: Irish:tup:

I have a 2006 Sportster (Harley) 1200 w/Trike kit & I don't buy a lot of Harley clothing because the prices are ridiculous! ex-an ashtray might cost $2.00 but take the same ashtray & put Harley Davidson on it & it will cost at least $7.00.:s:tdown: Irish

Quite so Irish. At least you can get Harley materials. I wrote to CF Moto to ask where I could get a T Shirt and they replied, "We don't make any." I wanted to make my own but the online company that makes T shirts said, "We can't comply with your request. CF Moto is trademarked."
