hid on a 50cc?

I put a Chinese scooter hid kit on my wife's sunny scooter. it was a direct replacement to the p15d factory headlight bulb. im running that kit and a hid compositor but still will kill her battery when ridding at night. are hid to much for the stock 8 pole stator? Any other options for lighting that the stock dim 25 or 35w bulb?

i have two 50watt bulbs and they are great ebay

The HID kits still should only use 35 watts, try connecting the switch to the low beam and keep it off during the daytime, I always drain my batteries with HID's. Get a small float charger for home, thats what i did
