This bike sat outside in New England for a number of years, my landlord knew I liked scooters, so he dropped it off to me. A lot of cleaning, and proper adjusting, and a few essential parts like brakes and a coil, and some paint, and it's a swell bike. Here it is so far, more pics as I do more stuff.

I don't know the year, buy I do know it's a 1e40qmb 2-t, and once I got the mixture down, hits a gps verified 48mph on level ground, with rather worn CVT components. I've got new performance flat-slide variator, belt and clutch coming soon...

Eton manufactures in Taiwan. Their scooters are put together rather well. It's reflected in the MSRP of around $2500 for their 150cc models. These are a little known brand possessing the quality of Kymco and SYM.

I agree that the quality of this Eton is on par or greater than that of my 2002 Kymco Yup, and that is a HUGE compliment! It is a really nice bike, an is a joy to work on.

I have a eton beamer matrix2 49cc. I love it, the car is parked, no tags, tires or insurance I'm saving tons of money. I laugh at the gas pump.

I recently sold the green one. But I just got another identical one, so I get to build another one!
