Hello and welcome to the start of my build thread. Recently bought a scooter to ride to work got a deal on two more so I can use parts to fix daily when needed. Well now I have been thinking on a way to lower one of the extra ones I got. I like the jap big scooter but not ready for a 250 yet. Right now just playing with what I have. I like the tuck version better but have not seen any this way. Why not? Is it the relocating of the gas tank? What are your guys thoughts and ideas.

I like the look. I've only had mine since last fall, but I'm already thinking of the rat-rod mods.

Keep us posted!

I'm not sure why most of the streches seem to be Ruckus's, shear number of them???
I do know when I was at CON this year, I got to look at some really killer nice machines. However those guys did not blink an eye at dropping 5,6 or 7 thousand dollars or more into them.
If your good at fabrication, wiring, and some machine work, it can be much cheaper to do.
Good luck with your project.

I like it. Ground clearance is over rated.

ok update. Got an air shock kit. This is just temp mount had to play with it. I kind of like it where the motor sits and rear but I will be moving the engine back. The only clearnace issue I have is the shock hitting exhaust. I want to build a shorty, should solve the problem.

Update. Finally decided where I wanted the motor mounted and got it welded up. Body is on to check clearance.

Came together well. I still have not figured out an onboard compressor. Wonder if my shock can handle 80psi
nitrogen. Thinking of a paintball tank with regulator.
Luckily the cruise spot has a gas station with air. I have more lighting accessories I have to add and deleted stereo.
I got it done to be a side project now, picked up a 78 monte for my next build.

Very nice custom PHX.
I wish you would have posted more Picts. of the methods, and parts you used.

Things like lowering the front end, and the body/frame work you did.
