CFMOTO E-CHARM --- California Registration

Trying to register 2008 CFMOTO E-Charm 150 in California. went to AAA to register and they came across 2 major issues. (1) Could not locate manufacturer in system (2) could not locate "engine number". I have never heard of engine number, but apparently every motorcycle has (should have) one engraved on the engine directly.

NOTE: I have registered this vehicle in 2 different states previously without any major issue.

Has anyone ever registered a CFMOTO in California? Any issues? Location of engine number?

The "engine number" is stamped on the engine case, and is underneath the belt cover on the left side.

You might tell them to look under CFHG in their files. In NY that is the name on my title. Chun Feng Holding Group.

I ran into the same thing and had to go to the Redding, CA DMV for an manufacturer code asignment even tho its an Roketa California must have the manufacturer code. Took two days but after all the fun I now have my Roketa on the road. In fact here is my manufacturer code if it will help "SJMCL"
