Sorry y'all I have not been posting, it has been a long winter... the start of a new job (CNG mechanic) I have also found out we are having a baby (witch I thought we were done with long ago) and I have been putting in a lot of OT. But here the last week or so the weather has been nice enough to get the ole scoot out and put some miles on the endless black ribbon we call the road.. I can not wait to take the scoot on many trips and to the lakes and around to local motorcycle events. How has y'all winter been? Anyone got their scoot out for summer already? :scoot:

Sounds like you've been going through life changing events and enjoying it, LOL. Congrats and enjoy the quiet while you can!! I rode a lot when my kids were screaming their lungs out. Riding is quieter...

Wow busy busy!! Winter haha I live in Phoenix. I am able to ride year round here. It gets down to about 30 but only a few nights ( that's the low) I work at 6 so I do ride in that. It did hail once though that was pretty thriling. But it's been in the 80s the last month.

Yes I assume to get away from the emotional wife and screaming the scooter will come in handy.... It already has so far.

Hi
Outstranding
Congratulations on the new job and the upcoming baby
Ive been riding my motorbikes quite a bit this winter
The only thing that keeps me off the road is slippery road conditions, as long as they are clear of snow and ice i shall ride no matter how low the temperature drops
Take care and ride safely my friend
Yours Hank

Ya great for now but it will be 100 plus in another couple months. I have a tank sporty 150 for play and a Suzuki tu250 for commute since its 25 miles 18 of which is highway.

Thank you everyone for all the kind words. We are very happy. We just found out we are having a boy. Wife wanted a girl but she is thrilled with our boy. We have been doing a lot of scooting this week. Today it's suppose to be about 60 and that's great with a light jacket and some thin gloves. We have some great motorcycle rude events that are coming up in a month and I can't wait for those to start. I haven't reached my 5000 mile gear oil change. But I have been hearing that people like to change it sooner? Happy scooting y'all

I change mine every 2000 miles but it comes out really clean so I don't know if its is really necessary. They only hold a few ounces so I figure why not.

That's kinda what I am thinking. It can't much, and I am sure it don't hurt to change it a little sooner then later
