turn on ignition no gas gauge or starter but will kick and run

I remember reading here that there is difference in the circuit.when I turn the key and the gas gauge doesn't move it will not turn over but will kick and run.sometimes the gas gauge will move then it will start with the button.horn and blinkers work also

This could be the regulator, or the starter switch itself ... Or a dozen other things ...
so I am no help ... :P

its almost new with 150 miles so I doubt its a regulator
