Hello from Phoenix --

Been a balmy 108 or so. A big cooldown from the 112 when I went back to work Aug 7 (school employee) commuting on my Majesty. People sometimes question my wearing ATGATT (jacket is mesh, though) in those temps, but I smile and tell them I'd rather sweat a little than bleed a lot.

(BTW, for heat try a Polar vest.)

13* F. here in southeast MI. with a wind chill of 0* F. Not going to bother clearing the driveway just yet because it will just fill back in with windblown drift. Generators are a must around here. (glad I have one) Power went out for 6 hours; from 8:00 PM til 2:00 AM. It would have been extra chilly inside too without one to keep the furnace going.

I got a couple of nice rides in on Friday, I think it was 81 degrees. It's supposed to go down to 33 tonight with a high of 61 and rain tomorrow. Went camping this weekend, and it was great.
