I just sold my majesty, i've been using my daughters tao 50 to get back and forth to work.
I was thinking of getting another scoot, 250cc or more, the 50cc while not bad for fiddle-fartin' around town, just doesn't have enough storage space(groceries) and uumph for me:),plus something that i drive out on the highway on day trips.
I was thinking of something along the lines of a honda reflex knock-off-if there is one. The majesty had plenty of storage, but my girlfriend couldn't get comfortable on the back, short legs and the wide back end, made it hard for her to rest her feet on the footrests.
Any ides?? models?

Maybe a Linhai 260?

+1.
The only scoot I know that has a larger storage space than a taotao 50, is a BMS 260.
I doubt even a Honda PCX has more storage space.

You probably are looking for a maxi scooter, but know that their engines are larger too.
In my BMS, I could fit 1 full sized helmet, and one halfsized helmet.

Even most 150cc scooters have the same storage space as the 50cc scoots.

Get a honda helix or a clone.

You might wish to take a look at the SYM 200 EVO - otherwise known as the Joyride. Plenty of power and nice storage under the seat.

I have a reflex clone.. It is a Roketa MC54-250B... The "B" on the end makes a difference! Mine has a linhai 250 yami horizontal clone motor, and not as much storage under the seat.. I can olny fit a half-shell helmet under mine.. i can't get the seat closed with my full size helmet in there.. I know for a fact that I can fit two 2 liter soda bottles in there with a little room to spare.

The reflex clones with the CF-MOTO honda clone vert motor are supposed to have more trunk space than the linhai horizontals... just an FYI.

If someone has a MC54-250 (no "B")with the CF-MOTO motor here, they might be able to give more details.

For a good all around scooter I like the Honda PCX 150. Problem is that it is a bit expensive and doesn't have the retro look I like, but you should have plenty of storage and you can add a trunk in the back as well. Reliable, fast 70mph, big tires and very high MPG. OTD price though can be as high as $4,000...

For that price I'd get a motorcycle. A kawasaki Ninja 300, or a Suzuki TU250x.

Hi
How about a Used Honda Big Ruckus?

They also make clone versions in a 150 cc size

not really, I have a wonderful time on my TaoTao ATM50!
4000 problem-less km's, only now the blinkers stopped working due to some serious downpour (2 days), and the scoot was outside.
I probably need a new blinker unit (like the electronics box).

I agree with ,prodigit, my daughters taotao50 seems to be running qite well and trouble-free. At first ,it was a bit cold natured, so i got a bigger pilot jet and drilled out the main to an 80, been trouble free ever since, just slowwwwwwwww. :)

I have two tao's they are both highly modded and fast, bring me lots of enjoyment and have been reliable so far, but have replaced most the parts with quality stuff
