300 miles is quite something. If done by a 50cc, it'll take you more than a whole day, and expect your shoulders and bum to hurt like hell!
With a 150cc it's still a loong way! With a 250 it's acceptable, because you can go via the interstate, and reach it in a good 4 to 5 hours. Still expect shoulder and butt pains!

When I'm doing 250+ miles a day, I usually go with something bigger. Either a 150 for just sightseeing, a 250 if I go for the ride comfort and sightseeing, and occasional highway, or a 300+cc for highway riding; 500+cc for interstate riding.

We are all on Zuma 125s. We have done multiple trips in Florida averaging 250-275 miles. Hopefully the extra miles wont kill us. A Corbin seat makes all the difference in the world. We usually average 50 miles an hour and on the blue ridge we will be going slower, but the views will make it all worth while. Im expecting 7 hours of seat time.

One thing I'm having a lot of problems with, perhaps it has to do with my length, but the handlebars are too far forward, causing me to lean forward. It's that what's killing my shoulders.
On every bike I'm on, I wished the handlebars where at least 2 to 5 inches closer to my body.
