I got 2 Hyosung something 2 stroke scooters, They both leak gas like hell out of the overflow tube and need to be held wide open or air restricted to run. One of them has a new carb, but it leaks too? I'm clueless. They are the same exact scoot, so if I fix one, The other is fixed too. both doing the same thing. How could the float be sticking on a new carb? :X

maybe your fuel petcock is also bad and the fuel stop on the carb cant do the job buy itself, no fuel should be getting through the petcock why the motor isnt running

Never underestimate the power of a manufacturer to fail. Check the float needle assembly and float level yourself...

Yep check floats. They may be sticking or not adjusted properly!

The motors have to be pulled out. It's a complete metal frame, Seat tub is metal, welded to the frame. So... yeah. So much for accessibility

I have a 2001 Hyosung Sense. It has the welded tub like you describe, but you can get to the carb easily by taking the side plastics off. There is also a small access hole for changing the spark plug and tightening head bolts etc if you pull the carpet in the tub out.
