Someone asked me a question today that I don't know the answer to. If you tow a scooter with the drive wheel on the ground with one of these http://theusatrailerstore.com/products/motorcycle-trailers/the-original-slick-wheelie.html Will the clutch engage the engine or will it continue to freewheel until the drive belt spins it (which won't happen) I'm thinking it would work but I have never tried it. Any way what do you know??

Hi
Others have asked that same question but in a different light
Can you pop start a scoot by towing it?
The answer is no to both them and you, the clutch will not engage
Take care and ride safely dear friend

the wheel will turn the drive shaft and clutch bell but the clutch will not engage because it is not or will not spin by the rear wheel turning

That's what I was thinking just wanted to be sure this would remain the case even up to freeway speed I know my 150 had bogged out once and I was able to get it to restart but the clutch never disengaged so very different I guess. I didn't want to give out bad info...

You can see this when your CVT cover is off, turning the bell by hand will turn the wheel but that's about it.
