Anyone know of a cheap/good performance variator. Put mine together wrong a few thousands kms ago when I did the belt. Got slower and slower and slower. Pulled it apart after remembering I put it together wrong. I put the guides underneath the plate and it slowly ground away the slide posts.

I found one on aliexpress.

With a new variator you should get a new belt also. The wear on the belt from the old variator will be different than the new but that depends on how many miles on it etc...

Millsc, this one is similar to the one I posted, only yours is a bit more without rollers.

Anyone have a cheap set of reliable sliders? Thinking 5g. Maybe 6g. Scrappy has em for $20 bucks a set.

http://partsforscooters.com/169-217_Dr_Pulley_Roller_Weights get these well worth it, if you get the right ones the first time won't have to worry about it for a long while.

It does say 15-26 days, while the ebay link you posted is Feb 20- Mar 8th, which is 18-30+ days...

I appreciate the slider link, can't find Dr. Pulley brand that cheap anywhere else.

Our performance variators are actually made in the same factory as Koso.
BTW, we are finally getting some hd stroker 139qmb crankshafts in March.
