first true 50mm ive seen

I got my kit in today from ebay scooter-parts 1 its a true 50mm kit all the others have been 48mm downside the head doesn't have the bigger valves like 02starider and robotechlegacy's kits have. So i won't be running the 24mm carb with it, not sure i will run the exhaust either. The mod on the roketa has begun i'll update when done.

The kit from starrider was a 50mm that I got, I didnt notice bigger valves tho just a different style head I thought. I have one of the heads here also Ill go look.

You want to sell or trade heads? starriders piston was 49mm i believe.

The ones i done from starrider and robotech the valves measured bigger by a few mm. The 50mm heads that is.

Id have to tear that engine back apart but mine measured 50mm to the T. I always check everything from ring gap to crank run out when I rebuild.

The head needs to be planed in my opinion from starider. Theres more imperfections in the casting than most kits.

If youre coming up to St Louis anytime soon Ill give you another 50mm head from starider that I took off in place of a hoca head, the guy ran it maybe for 3-400 miles. Ill be leaving for Montana on a plant observation on Sunday to next Thursday but I can always leave it somewhere or give it to someone you know here in St Louis.

the valves look bigger on yours, the head i just got has 18/16 valves.

the valves probably are at least 19mm, i'm not going to attempt to run a 24mm carb with the small valves.

now lets get real..you say hoca and ebay stuff is the only place that has a true 50mm head.....now this is a TRUE performance head big valves-3-angle valve seats-port by hand- detailed bowl porting-profiling. trust me when i tell ya this is the only true performance head out there... that stuff you got there is nothing on this.........buford

good stuff buford, the ebay kit i got was a cheapie, my hoca head is machined beautifully.

not too argue but machine in what way? there is no port work done at all. i have one of those hoca's just to see how they look.. and i am a machinist and i dont see anything that would be call'ed performance..just bigger valves then stock..but i would like to see a pic if anybody out there has any pics of the ports. sorry i aint buying it. there is nothing performance about it....

Hi, i just had the robotech 50mm bbk installed at the local scoot shop, i am brand new to scooting and would love it if ya'll could give some sugestions on what else to upgrade on it. I have a racing cdi and orange coil a have not put in yet...everything else is stock... it does 45 on the gps as is
