New Group Function

Hey guys there is a new group function on the forum. I thought I would start one for those of us that are Hardcore. For those of us who ride daily who brave the heat the cold and whatever. This includes those of us who ride whether we have to or want to daily... Lets see how it works out go here: HARDCORE (http://www.scootdawg.net/group.php?groupid=1)

Check it out not sure what if anything will come of it but thought we might discuss things related to our daily ride... :shrug:

Do you ride daily other than the restrictions imposed on you by those responsible for you??
If so you are Hardcore. Not owning any vehicle besides your scooter also qualifies you...

i ride as long as there is no ice or snow cold doesn't stop me i rode the other day it was 9 degreess

Come join up then. Riding in ice or snow doesn't make you hardcore just crazy (yes I have been guilty)

Oh cool! Yep, my three scooters are the only vehicles I own and I try to scooter around as much as I can.

Ilse, my scoot, is my only vehicle. I use my cage as a tool shed only while my work area is under development. About three years ago, I informed the DMV in California that my car is not being driven, so I haven't kept up the registration since then. I'm totally new to the mechanical side. Also, my school is on the property where I live, so I don't commute.

I've been on some long distance interstate winter rides, before learning here that GY6s can't do that (vive l'ignorance) - 800 kilometers in a weekend one time.

I suppose the only thing "hardcore" about me is that I think Sandra Romain is hot.

I ride back and forth to work daily , last week it was upper 40's . this week it dropped to the upper teens . I just took the car . when the temp drops to quickly I drive .

I use Grebings on my scooter .

Yes Hank , the gloves when you don't plug them in are still the best pair of gloves I ever owned . I put on a sweat shirt , the Gerbings jacket liner , gloves and insoles . Rain gear over it and I'm set .
My GTS I don't know if it will handle the load , I worked the electric on my 150 chinese and it holds the load at full power . GY6B with 16" wheels .
